Empire Deli & Restaurant brings you the big, bold yet refined flavors of the New York City in a casual and subdued atmosphere.

Empire Deli is the brainchild of two former New York residents who wanted to bring a piece of the New York culinary scene back to their hometown of Manila. Encompassing almost every aspect of the flavor spectrum, sweet, salty, a little bit of spice or ridiculously atomic, we have it for you. This is Modern American Cuisine at its best.

So whether you are craving a bowl of pasta, bold comfort food, want to try our 50/50 burger or gourmet sandwiches this is definitely the place to be.

The Kitchen
Chef Mike Tinsay has been a mainstay in the Philippine culinary scene since 2006. After traveling extensively and having lived in New York, Toronto and San Francisco, he returned to finish up his culinary studies and has worked as head chef in a variety of restaurants in the country.

He has also cooked for some of the most influential personalities in the Metro, as well as taking a short teaching stint at one of the country's foremost culinary academies. Mike brings to the restaurant not only his culinary talent but design, marketing and publishing experience. He leads a team comprised of a group of talented chefs made up of Sous Chef Aimee Villanueva, Jaime Villanueva, Tesia Racela, Lj Alvarado and James Pascua, as well as a support group of some of the country's up and coming young culinary graduates.


Business Development
Ricardo V. Pascua, Jr. earned his Bachelor's degree from Ateneo de Manila University (AB Political Science 1997), and his Graduate degree from Fordham University (MBA 2002) in New York City. After working for some of the country's biggest companies, he followed the entrepreneurial track, co-founding and currently co-managing a number of companies in the local food industry. Rics will spearhead the company's growth and well as handling the company's corporate and industrial clients.
